Okay so another of my talents are decorating cakes. No, I'm not perfect and I do make mistakes on these cakes, but when I get finished, I just think they are the cutest things ever! The best part to me is seeing the reactions on the faces of those that I made the cake for! Gotta love it! Here are a few of the ones I have attempted!
Can't take all the credit for this one, because me and one of my very best friends, Papani,
did this together. I will mention him several times on here too, because he's very creative and we have made A LOT of cakes together!
These were cupcakes I made for my students at Easter!
This cute little bee cake and cupcakes were made for my sister Brandy. She was having her first child and they were doing a Gender Reveal Party. Well my classroom was decorated in Bees so I had plenty of decorations and knew just what kind of cake to do! "What's it gonna bee" was the theme and we were quick to find out that she was having a BOY!!! I better give credit to both my sisters and mom because we all helped with making the fondant bees. It took forever!
Another cake Papani and I made. For the past two years we have made the YWEA (Youth World Evangelism in Action) cake and we were excited to make it again! We raised over 100,000 dollars for the cause of these three countries! Go South Georgia Church of God!
This is one of my favorite cakes. Yes, I do get influence from the internet sometimes. I made this cake for my sweet nephew Braxton. It was his 5th birthday and he was into Superheroes! It took a lot of time, but ended up being so sweet! He loved the cake!
Monster truck cake for a little boy. I used Oreos to resemble gravel.
A 1st birthday tear into cake for Teriayn. It was princess themed.
Here are me and my sisters and mom. The point was the cake though! Lol! This was the baby cake I made for my middle sisters baby shower. It had a little fondant sailboat on top called the SS Wren (that's his name.)
To make the spiderweb look, you take and draw circles with icing around the whole cupcake and then you take a toothpick and start at the top of the cupcake and pull it down to the edges. It makes a very cute spiderweb. One year I made these and put those rubber flies on them. My students were scared to eat them! Lol!
These were my Halloween cupcakes I made for our church Cake Walk on Hallelujah Night. I didn't want to give them away because they were so cute!
